1. You must complete both pages of the application, including your signature, and the date submitted at the bottom of the second page. Applications must be completed in black or blue ink, must be able to be legibly copied and be able to be scanned and copied if emailed. Do not submit a scan from a phone or a photograph, as we are not able to access a legible copy.
2. Applicants must attach a Personal Statement of no more than two hundred words to help the selection board understand your character, career goals, personal circumstances, financial needs, or other aspects of your life. This should not be a summary or recap of your academic achievements. This must be submitted as a separate document from your two-page application and must include your name as the document heading.
3. You must obtain references from two people. One can be from a high school source such as a teacher, coach, or guidance counselor. The second one must be from a source not connected in any way to the high school. These can include an employer, a spiritual advisor, coach or trainer from a non-school related sport or an advisor from other non-school related activities. Personal family friends or relatives are not acceptable sources for these references. Please have your two references use the attached Reference Form. Do not include these references with your application. They must be sent separately by the person submitting the reference and must be received by the April 1, 2025, deadline. They can be mailed or emailed to the addresses included on the Reference Form.
4. All components of the application must be fully completed and arrive by the deadline of April 1, 2025. If your application does not arrive before the deadline and is not complete it will not be considered. Mailed applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2025.
