Criteria for both scholarships are: academic achievement; leadership;
service; character; special achievements; and financial need.
Class of 2025
Alumni Scholarships
Two scholarships of $2,000 and six scholarships of $1,000 each
Horne Memorial Scholarships
Two scholarships of $3,000 each and six scholarships of $5,000 each
Applications are available at the high school, on the school website and on the Alumni website; one application covers both scholarships;
the selection board will meet in April and recipients will be notified at graduation.
PLEASE NOTE: Application letters and all other items must be received at the address on the letterhead by April 1, 2025.
Applications received after April 1st will not be considered.

Alumni Scholarships

Horne Memorial Scholarships
Ten scholarships of $3,000 each are available. All members of the Class of 2024 who are now in college may apply.
Application Procedure, Deadline and Selection
Send a personal letter to the Alumni with information you would like to be considered. Keep the criteria outlined above in mind. Attach correspondence from your college, stating you are a full-time student in good standing, and a transcript that shows your most recent Grade Point Average. A minimum GPA of 3.0 (B) is desired, but applicants will be considered on their overall merits. Selections will be made in April, with notification letters sent following the selection board. Please include an e-mail address in your letter.
